Oatmeal Peach Pie Smoothie

– 1 ripe peach, peeled and diced (or 1 cup frozen peach slices) – 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal (rolled oats cooked in water or milk) – 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt alternative

– 1/2 cup almond milk or any milk of your choice – 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness) – 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds (optional, for added fiber and omega-3s) – 1 cup ice cube

Prepare Ingredients: Peel and dice a ripe peach. Cook oatmeal according to package instructions and let it cool slightly.

Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine diced peach, cooked oatmeal, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and ground flaxseed or chia seeds (if using).

Add Ice: Add ice cubes to the blender for a chilled and refreshing smoothie.

Blend Until Smooth: Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.

Taste and Adjust: Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or spice levels according to your preference. Add more honey, cinnamon, or vanilla extract if desired.
