Granada Bars with Honey Oatmeal

Toss them with some coconut, or experiment with various nuts, dried fruits, and chips.

You can add any flavor you like to this basic recipe.

Turn the oven on high heat (350°). With a big basin, mix together the oats, peanuts, brown sugar, chocolate chips, and sunflower kernels.

Blend in the honey, butter, and vanilla extract (the mixture will be crumbly).

Roll out onto a 15x10x1-inch baking pan lined with parchment paper and buttered.

Ten to fifteen minutes in the oven, or until just beginning to brown.

Before cutting into bars, let cool in pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes. After taking out of pan, let cool entirely.
