Buttery Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients 1/2 cup butter, melted 3 tablespoons lemon juice 2 teaspoons chili powder

1 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 pounds uncooked shrimp (16-20 per pound), peeled and deveined

Directions Mix the first five ingredients in a small dish and reserve 1/4 cup. Put eight metal or moistened wooden skewers with shrimp on them.

Cover and grill the shrimp for three to five minutes on each side, or until they turn pink.

Baste the shrimp occasionally with the butter mixture. Take off of the grill and apply the saved butter mixture on it.

“You can even ‘train’ hummingbirds to anticipate a good mist by using a mister with a timer that turns on the mist daily,” John says.
