Wire cutters Round-nosed pliers Pencil or toothpick Flat-nosed pliers

Directions Make twigs flexible by soaking them. Use round-nosed pliers to twist a 12-inch piece of 20-gauge wire to one side of a 6- to 7-inch twig for swing base. Latch twig end to base opposite side and gently bend.

Turn any remaining wire into tendrils by wrapping the tail around a pencil or toothpick. To obtain desired look, remove pencil and pull wire end with flat-nosed pliers.

Cut 12- to 18-in. 20-gauge wire. Wrap one end around twig arch to fasten. Hummingbirds love red beads. Wrap beaded wire around twig and fasten. Keep repeating along twig arch as required.

Cut 18-gauge wire to 18 inches. Wrap one end over the arch to create a beautiful loop for hanging and add beads. Wrap other end around archtop. Hang outside.
