Did you know it takes 45 gallons of Maple tree sap to boil down to one gallon of syrup. The white barrel above is a 55 gallon barrel.

Ryan’s Sugar Shack - Chester
For Maple Weekend this year, March 24 and 25, he will offer tours and his evaporator will be running. March is Maple Month in New Hampshire, and Ryan’s Sugar Shack at 118 Meadow Fox Lane in Chester will be open from noon to 4 p.m. daily.
