Raymond IHGMS Girls Soccer Team Still Undefeated
Submitted by Tammy Reardon   9-29-15

On Monday, September 28th, the IHGMS Girls Soccer Team played their third game and third consecutive win against Nashua Catholic.   The Rams dominated the game from beginning to end.  Many of the girls had shots on the opposing team’s goal with only two of the balls going into the goal; Lily Mason and Anya Cunningham scored the first two goals for the Rams.

On this beautiful cool and overcast day, neither team game up.  Both teams played hard until the end.  The Raymond girls showed relentless pressure which resulted in numerous takeaways and the Rams capitalized on the opportunities.

Throughout the second half of the game, Raymond showed some excellent passing skills.  After 3 more goals for Raymond by Madilyn Robinson, Hannah Reardon and Kathryn LaCasse, Nashua Catholic decided it was time to change keepers.  To finish off the game and win, Emaleigh Boucher scored her first goal to bring the score to 6-0.

After the game Kathryn LaCasse was asked what her favorite part of the game was.  Kathryn stated “when the youngest player on the field scored”.
