Dr. Tina McCoy Selected for Superintendent of Raymond School District, SAU 33   02-10-17

The Raymond School Board is pleased to announce that Dr. Tina McCoy has
been selected to serve as the Superintendent of Schools for the Raymond
School District, SAU 33, serving the town of Raymond, NH.

The Superintendent Search Committee, comprised of parents, community members, administrators, faculty, and staff members completed a thorough search process in order to find the best candidate for the Raymond District. The School Board carefully reviewed the search process, school and community feedback from the focus groups, and the information about the candidates gained from interviewing as well as on-site school visits to all three schools, the SAU office, and meetings with town officials.

After thoughtful deliberation, the Board is confident that Dr. McCoy is the best candidate for the position. Moving forward, the Board will negotiate a contract with Dr. McCoy, details of which will be forthcoming and will accompany an official nomination in public session.

Dr. McCoy attained her doctorate from Boston College in Education Leadership and her Masters degree in Education from St. Louis University. She completed her undergraduate degree in Special Education at University of Illinois. She is currently running her own consulting business with various school districts around New Hampshire and Massachusetts and served as the interim superintendent for the Windham district this past year.


Three Finalists for Raymond Superintendent of Schools - 1-27-17

The Raymond School District Board is pleased to announce the three finalists for the position of superintendent of schools: Patricia Lally, Tina McCoy, and Peter Weaver.

At this time, the Board would like to extend an invitation to all parents, community members, and staff to a “Meet the Candidates” forum on February 2nd from 6:30 – 8:00 at the Iber Holmes Gove Middle School Cafeteria. This will be an informal meeting where everyone will have the opportunity to meet the candidates and provide feedback for the Board for their review before final interviews.

The Board would like to thank the Superintendent Search Committee members, comprised of a cross-section of parents, teachers, support staff, community members, administrators, and a Board member, who volunteered their time to select the best candidates to move forward to the Board as finalists.
