Raymond Coalition for Youth Gala Raises $5000
By Cheryl Killam 4-11-14

Raymond Coalition for Youth Gala, an evening of dinner, dancing and auctions was held on Saturday, March 22nd, at the Granite Rose in Hampstead.

"I am extremley happy, it was a complete success" said Celeste Clark, Executive Director of RCFY, "115 people attended which exceeded our goal of 75. We had fantastic items donated that took in more funds than ticket sales. There was a lot of discussion about what people were wearing, it was like a prom for adults. A few dressed in jeans while others dressed in gowns and tuxedos. We hope to make this an annual event. "

The funds collected will be used for youth programming including Operation Raymond Cleanup, the Youth Summer Series at Riverside Park which starts in June and to promote ongoing prevention messages with the schools.
