RVIP Seeks Donations of Time and Funds for 2019 Guide
Raymond Voter Information Project Seeks Voters' Guide Administrator
Letter to Raymond Voter Information Project Members 7-25-17
Dear VIP Friends and Members,
We just closed our fiscal year with a big boost from the NH Gives Day
event in June. On behalf of the VIP Board, I send a big THANK YOU for
your support. We raised $190 which will help defray the cost of the 2018
Voter Guide. Those donations, combined with our Business Donors and our
membership dues, will combine to cover the $2000 cost of publishing and
mailing our annual Voter Guide next February.
That is a small figure, but consider that the volunteer Editorial Committee, Board Members, Researchers and Readers put in well over 1,000 hours to create the Guide. A huge THANK YOU also goes to our many volunteers who worked on this year's Guide.
We need your help. Please renew your membership. At $20 for the first family member and $10 for the second, this price is a bargain.
If your membership lapsed, please renew. You have been a valuable member
of VIP and we continue to need your support. It is easy to pay Membership
dues. You can complete and mail the attached form to us, or you can use
our PayPal account on our website (please consider paying the transaction
fee charged by that company so VIP can benefit from your entire payment)

Raymond is a great place to live, work, and play. Please include VIP
membership in your summer TO DO list.
Thank You and I look forward to hearing from you.

Raymond Voter Information Guide in Mailboxes on March 3
Submitted by Susan Hilchey 2-21-17
March 3 is the date the Voter’s Guide, published by the grassroots, non-profit, non-partisan group, the Raymond Voter Information Project (VIP), is expected to arrive at your home or Post Office box. Now in its 8th year, many residents have come to look forward to seeing this Guide, which serves as a tool for Raymond voters to use during the Town and School District election cycles.
The online version of the Warrant Articles for both School and Town is currently available at www.raymondvip.org . Once the Guide is published, it will also be available online at that same site. As always, the Guide explains Town and School Warrant Articles that will be on the warrant at local elections on March 14 and fact-based reasons why voters might vote “yes” or “no.”
The members of the Raymond Voter Information Project come from a broad range of careers and municipal experience, and have varying personal viewpoints. While participating in VIP activities, they are committed to neither support nor oppose any candidate or warrant article and to focus on providing objective voter information.
Appreciation is sent to the many Raymond citizens, staff, and elected and appointed Town and School District officials who provided information to the Volunteer Reporters and to the Citizen Readers who contributed so much to the editing process, and to the wonderful citizen and business donors who made this year’s guide possible.
Raymond VIP is registered with the State of NH and with the Town of Raymond as a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit corporation and a charitable trust. Sincere thanks go out to our members, Raymond citizens, and businesses who donated services and funds to make this 2017 Guide possible to the local residents free of charge.
Since creating the Guide depletes the organization’s funds, additional resources must be found.
To support continuation of the Guide for 2017, citizens may donate by PayPal at www.raymondvip.org or by mail to Raymond VIP at PO Box 813, Raymond NH 03077. All donations are tax deductible. And we are always grateful for new volunteers.
In addition to a new Administrator, we welcomed new Editorial Committee Members, Reporters, Readers, and Proofreaders this year. Thank you, Raymond, for your support!
