Raymond High School Alumni Association To Hold Annual Meeting
Submitted by Sally Paradis, President RHSAA  10-13-14

The RHS Alumni Association will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Raymond High School in Room 213 at 7:00 p.m.  Alumni and friends are invited to attend.

The agenda for the up-coming meeting will include a review of the recent all-class alumni reunion, 2014 newsletter, the 2015 golf outing, as well as election of officers for the ensuing year.   RHS alumni who are interested in joining the committee to work on these projects are encouraged to attend.

A highlight of the past year includes the Association’s golf outing held in June 2014 that raised over $10,000 for the scholarship fund.  Four $2,500 scholarships were awarded at RHS commencement in June 2014 to college-bound seniors RHS on June  The Association’s ability to continue making scholarship awards of $10,000 each year without raising additional income has reached a critical point, however, and ways to address this will also be a part of the meeting’s agenda.

RHS alumni are reminded that the Association website is up and running.  Go to http://www.rhsalumninh.org.   Association bylaws, officers, results of golf outings, newsletters and other items will be posted in a timely manner.

Never before has man had such a great capacity to control his own environment, to end hunger, poverty and disease, to banish illiteracy and human misery.

We have the power to make the best generation of mankind in the history of the world.
