Raymond Fall Harvest Festival Raffle Winners
By Cheryl Killam 10-5-13

The first Raymond Fall Harvest Festival, a plaza to plaza event, was held on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 9 am to 2 pm to promote local small businesses and non-profit organizations in our community.

This outdoor fall festival took place in four plazas including: Crossroads Condominiums & B*G* Makeovers parking lot (behind 7-Eleven), Cozy Corners plaza (intersection of route 27 & 156 ) with music by the North River Band, Riverbend Market Place (64 Freetown Rd) and the Raymond Shopping Plaza.

Over 50 small businesses and non-profit organizations set up booths with tables or opened their doors for customers to come visit them and learn about products and services and enter into the wide variety of raffles that were available.

"All I ever go to in the Raymond Shopping Plaza is the post office or Planet Fitness", said Debra Doda, "I never knew there was a jewelry store in there. This was a really great idea to get people out to learn what Raymond has to offer. "
