To Submit Calendar Activites & Events:
We will accept submissions about FREE family community events from Non-Profit organizations, school events and sporting events as well as Open House events from "our current advertisers". To advertise on this website, click the "Advertise Information" link in the middle of the page.
Send an email with the organization or business name, the contact person name and phone number, event information, date, time, location and ticket prices, if any.
Calendar items MUST be sent TWO WEEKS prior to the activity or event.
To Submit a News Article or Obituaries:
We will accept news articles about community events, school events, sporting events, births, weddings or obituaries.
To Submit Opinions & Letters to the Editor:
We accept letters that:
1. do not contain any offensive words or insults,
2. have no libel about anyone for any reason,
3. must have verifiable fact-based opinions,
4. will be subject to editing and
5 no capital letters depicting hollering.
Letter word limit is 2500 words or less. Email must contain contact name, & phone number so that if there are any questions you can be reached.
Photographs - We will consider photographs sent in with news articles for publication. We will not substantially alter photographs except as necessary for publication. Digital photographs are required. Persons submitting photographs must include their name, street address, town, telephone number and email address with their submission along with caption information.
